COVID-19 Enhanced Safety Protocols

17-Mar-2020

I'm writing to provide an update on Penn’s efforts to keep our clients, team, trade partners, and all included families healthy and safe as we follow the latest developments on COVID-19. It is important that we adjust and flex our behavior to meet the demands of a quickly evolving situation.

Our company leadership team is monitoring new developments so that we can quickly adapt and continue to provide the service and positive experience you rely on. We care about each and every one of you, and I want to ensure we are doing all we can to balance work life and personal health.

In addition to keeping abreast of daily updates through the World Health Organization, the CDC, and local / statewide updates, I am also talking with local and regional leaders in the field about best practices. We take our responsibility to our customers, our team, and our partners very seriously.

Here are the steps our team is taking to remain informed and prepared:

  • We are introducing rigorous additional cleaning procedures and are increasing the number of wipes, hand sanitizers, and other cleaning materials available at the office and on job sites.
  • We are preparing for any required in-person meetings by using hand sanitizer before entering a home. Please accept our apologies for not shaking your hand.
  • On job sites, our team members will be conducting best health practices including good hygiene of washing hands upon entrance and at regular intervals, social distancing (no handshaking or unnecessary contact), and disinfecting commonly touched non-porous surfaces, such as door handles, countertops, and tools.
  • We are insisting that all employees stay home if they are feeling sick or if someone at their home is sick.
  • We are making exceptions for our team and any clients that may be at high risk with compromised immune systems. Please don’t hesitate to contact our team and make us aware of your circumstances. We will make what is important to you, important to us.

We recognize this is a challenging time for all and we remain deeply committed to the safety of our customers, team, and communities. I continue to be thankful for your dedication, partnership, and collaboration in the building and maintaining of our common purpose and mission of enhancing lives through our work.

Sincerely,
Bruce
